I bought the domain and the webspace on 25 June, 2004. This is my very first paid one and I'm pretty happy with it. I've never any problems at all so far; so all is fine and I'm a satisfied customer. I just hope it'll stay that way and if not, well, the company is located in the neighbor town.
So why that name? The reason is pretty simple. I've always wanted something with blue because of the double meaning with the color and as synonym of sad and I like rain, not always but occasionally. So that's why. Besides, I like the sound of those two words together. But apart from that there is no deeper meaning to it; I just wanted an unusual combination, something that doesn't quite fit together.
This is the eleventh version of my domain. I have decided not to show the old layouts here because I don't see a valid reason why I should. Besides, I don't really think that many people would care anyway. I like to experiment with the styles of a layout. That's why the one you see right now is completely different from the one before. I also think that my skills develop and maybe it's better that you can't see any previous version.
What's to say about the current version? Beside the fact that it's layout number eleven I've made for my collective, it features a simple picture of a road I found on Flickr along with a few lines from Green Day's Boulevard of Broken Dreams. I've also used two textures made by ownthesunshine. The layout is optimized for Firefox 1024x768. And that's all there is to say.
